Project Description:  Renovation of elements in the area surroundings Garfield Playfields in alignment with the community-driven site plan and vision for the site. Improvements include an accessible .34 mile loop path (promenade) around the playfields (including earthwork and footings for artwork), tree protection, playfield turf replacement, demolition of existing restroom building and site features, a new restroom building, play area, a multi-use sport court for tennis and basketball, nature play area and climate adaptive garden. Scope also includes removal, protection, and reinstallation of existing on-site memorial boulder. Additive #1 is for an all-ages parkour facility, Additive #2 is for various site furnishings, and Additive #3 is for a picnic shelter.
